Bus Changes:
Dear Highland County Parents,
Since our COVID mitigation strategies have been changing, we have received several calls and requests regarding possible bus changes. At this time, we are only permitting Highland County civic and community sponsored organizations to request alternatives in our students’ transportation schedules. Furthermore, these changes will only be approved if they are determined to be on a consistent, long-term basis. If at any time a request has any negative impact on our student transportation and safety measures, we reserve the right to cease immediately, and all pertinent parties will be contacted. We understand this is still not perfect for our community, but please understand that we are trying very hard to return to a “new normal” for our students. As always, we sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we continue to navigate these difficult times together.
Respectfully,
Chuck Winkler
Superintendent

The ladies wrote and performed the radio play "A Strange Night at the Fair". With wonderful sound effects, this group entertained the sixth grade audience.
7th graders performed their radio play that the team wrote entitled "The Four Mountaineers" to a sixth grade audience. You will be happy to know the Highland County Fair was saved!
