Our gifted students have been busy putting their engineering skills to the test in Mrs. Jolley's class! ποΈβ¨
They explored beam, arch, truss, and suspension bridges, then designed and built their own using a variety of materials and creative structures. After construction, each bridge was weighed and tested with added weight to see just how much load it could hold.
These young engineers showed amazing problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation! ππ§π

Mrs. Ann's Kindergarten class has been learning about Indigenous Peoples, focusing on the Wampanoagβwho have lived in southeastern Massachusetts for more than 12,000 years.
The Wampanoag were the first tribe the Mayflower Pilgrims encountered when they landed in Provincetown Harbor, explored Cape Codβs eastern coast, and eventually continued on to Patuxet (Plymouth) to establish Plymouth Colony.
Our kindergarten students have loved discovering more about the Wampanoag people, their history, and their lasting impact! ππ

Mrs. Blakleyβs fourth graders spent time this week reflecting on the important people in their lives. π
Students wrote heartfelt notes to those theyβre most thankful for β parents, friends, family members, and anyone who supports them day in and day out.
A beautiful reminder that gratitude goes a long way, and the people we appreciate deserve to hear it. πβ¨

They toured authentic farmsteads from Africa, England, Ireland, and Germany, discovering how families used natural resources, completed daily chores, and practiced essential tradesβlike blacksmithing!
