DUNMORE, W.Va. — The Highland boys played their best basketball in the fourth quarter here Monday night.

Tied at 33-all, the Rams outscored Pocahontas County 19-8 in the final eight minutes, knocking off the Warriors, 52-41.

Ethan Moore scored eight of his game-high 19 points in the fourth quarter and Colton Williams added six of his 13 for Highland.

Dillon Dunz paced Pocahontas County with 18 points.

The Rams lost a pair of Pioneer District contests last week.

Highland fell at Parry McCluer last Tuesday, 52-46, and lost a Friday home-game with league-leading Narrows, 71-41.

Moore and Jacob Phillips each had a dozen points in the loss to the Fighting Blues, while Williams led the way in the Narrows game with 13 points.

Highland played at Bath County on Tuesday night (see separate story) and goes to Craig County on Friday.
