Highland County Public Schools

ALLEGHENY HIGHLANDS — A total of 20 area players earned All-Pioneer District honors this spring, voted on by the coaches of the district.

Ten Bath County baseball athletes, four Charger softball players, and six from the Highland softball squad were selected to the teams that were released last week.

BCHS all-district selections:

• Dylan Hicklin, sophomore, baseball, first-team pitcher;

• Nathan Hunt, senior, baseball, first-team pitcher;

• Hunter Kirby, senior, baseball, first-team first base;

• Owen Perdue, senior, baseball, first-team third base;

• Gunnar Whiddon, sophomore, baseball, first-team designated hitter;

• Marc Durney, senior, baseball, second-team pitcher;

• Cade Perdue, freshman, baseball, second-team shortstop;
