My daddy goes hunting for the turkey. He brings a shotgun. My dad rides a bear and shoots the turkeys down and wrestles it to the ground, I think. We slice it in our other garage and we usually um, um cook it in the oven because itβs a big turkey. I think we cook it at 10:30 at night. I think Mom cooks it hot because we like to play shooting turkey. We eat green beans and mac and cheese with the turkey and sometimes we get ice cream for dessert. I am thankful for my grandma and my aunt. I love my family and I am thankful for them! Happy pumpkin pie weekend!

First, we get a turkey from the mountains. We usually get a girl turkey because the boys will be better. Or, maybe the girls, either both of them would be really good. Itβs sometimes frozen when we get it. Sometimes I donβt know. For seasoning, we put like stuff that makes it taste good like hot seasoning and cold seasoning and it will be good. You should microwave the turkey for 11 minutes, I think, or 10 minutes if it is a good one. The microwave has to be super-hot like, 500 degrees. While we wait, my mom likes to watch it, but I go into the living room and play with my sister Charlotte and Abigail. Then I come out and check the turkey, then run back and go to sleep. My grandma usually gets the turkey out. We donβt like to wait for it to come out. We just eat it like chomp, chomp, chomp! I dip my turkey in mashed potatoes. We zoom to school and drop it off. I eat it with salad and mashed potatoes. Have you ever dipped turkey in mashed potatoes? Itβs really good! We eat strawberry cake for dessert. And cupcakes usually. We go to somebodyβs house. We go to Mike and Loriβs house for Thanksgiving. I am thankful for Lori, my mom, my dad, my sisters, and Nannan. Bye Nannan see ya later, buffalo!

We donβt have turkey for Thanksgiving. We have chicken. We get chicken from the dollar store. Itβs like about like $1. Itβs cold when we get it. We let it cool off for about 40 minutes. Yeah. We put salt on it before and after. Nothing else. Actually my mom puts barbecue sauce on it. We bake it in the oven for about 100 minutes. The oven has to be 100 degrees hot. Mom actually lets me put the stuff in when itβs not hot, but she doesnβt let me take the tray out. We gotta let it cool so I watch TV. I donβt have an iPad but I do at my Nan and Popβs house. I donβt dip it in anything. I eat it plain. I eat like French fries, hamburgers, shrimp, mashed potatoes, and chicken nuggets, oh, and ketchup. I like to drink milk with it. We have brownies and vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. My Nan and Pops come over and they bring my iPad and Zane has a phone but he only gets to watch it when heβs over there. And then after that I watch my iPad. Iβm thankful for my mom and my dad and Nan and Pops. I think my brother Shilo will cry a lot at Thanksgiving. Bye. See you.

I hunt for our turkey. My dad and I will go during turkey season. After you get your turkey we have to butcher it. You have to take the feathers off. Then you get it in the sink and scrub it. You put it in the refrigerator. When it is cooled down then you can put sprinkles on it. Then you put it in the oven at 60 degrees and cook it for like 5 hours. Then it will be done. Then we can eat it. My dad and my grandpa carve it. Sometimes my brother helps. I like to have chicken and salad and maybe some cookies when I am done. I usually shoot a turkey in a holler. Itβs a boy turkey. We need to peel it, so the feathers are off. Then I need to cook it. I put no seasoning on it actually. Well pepper and salt actually. We cook it in the oven for 10 minutes. I set it for hot degrees. I play with my cousin Beckett while I wait for the turkey. My Mommom gets it out with gloves. She gets it out so if I trip, I donβt fall. We need to wait for it to cool. You get a fan and let it blow on it. Me and Beckett go play on the playground cause we cook it at the firehouse. Then I bring the turkey to Beckettβs house. We donβt eat it yet. I play with Beckett some more. Then we eat it! I eat some corn, green beans, pork chops, and mashed potatoes. We usually go on Blueberry hill cause thatβs where the blueberries are and the turkeys go there. If we donβt have stuff that we need, like if my dad wants hot sauce, we go grab it inside then come out on the table. Thereβs a table in the garage about the size of the cafeteria. and we usually eat outside in the garage. And we usually eat there and do stuff. We cook it soon. We wash some of the meat off but itβs still all together. Then we bring it out on the table. Sometimes we set up a couple games to play when youβre done eating. I am pretty sure our turkey comes from Walmart. When we get it home we have to cut it with a big knife and put it in a big pan. My dad sprinkles it with salt. Then we put it in the oven on 5 degrees and you have to cook it for 4 minutes. You have to check it to see if it is done. If it is still frozen you have to keep cooking it. You might have to cook it for 4 hours. Then you can get it out and put it on a table. My mom makes some rice and probably some mashed potatoes. I also like to have mac and cheese and green beans. I love to have gravy with it too. All of my cousins come to my grandmaβs house. We sit around a big table and eat. I hope we have some pumpkin pie. After we eat, my cousins and I will ride our bikes and play outside. I will ride my electric scooter. I am very thankful for having turkey and especially for my Mom and Dad.

Usually I get a turkey up the mountain at my dadβs house. We just set a big trap and itβs a live trap and itβs the size for a bear because Iβve seen that size before. Then, my dad puts him on the back of the truck alive and then he gets it out on the truck and first he hears something he was like, βThereβs another turkey up the mountain!β And we went to like 8 a.m. and then we got it. That turkey was way up in the sky! And then bam! We got another. Now my daddy took it home and then he was going like one mile an hour. Then my mom cooks it with the feathers on it and then we eat it. Oh, we put on some seasoning. I would usually put ketchup. Itβll taste like turkey. We cook it in the stove for like 1,800 minutes. Itβs like the same as a fire. So pretty hot. I usually just play hide and seek with my dog and when my dog finds me I have to run! Mama usually cuts the turkey. I just call her Katrina sometimes. I eat bear, deer, squirrels, grouse, there might be something else. Oh! Red wolves. I eat Thanksgiving with my dad and my mom. Hmm, sometimes with my grandad but heβs already in California. Iβm thankful for the turkey, the bear, the grouse, the deer, and what elseβ¦the red wolves. One more. I donβt know. The end.
