BUENA VISTA — Highland’s middle school volleyball team won both ends of a doubleheader last Thursday at Parry McCluer.
The Rams won the opener in three sets, 24-26, 25-15, 15-10, before sweeping the nightcap, 25-17, 25-13.
Addison Sponaugle served 17 aces and had seven kills for the Rams in the two matches, Wren Cox had 13 aces and Aspen Lupo added four kills and four aces.
Caston Lightner had two kills and Ashlynn Smith added two kills to five aces.
Highland (4-4) is at Tygarts Valley, W.Va., on Monday.
