GREEN BANK, W.Va. — Addison
Lockridge scored 10 of her game-high 12
points in the first quarter here last Thursday,
leading the Highland middle school girls
past Green Bank, 25-5.
Lockridge added seven rebounds, four
blocked shots and five steals for the Rams,
who improved to 5-3.
Makynley Smith and Amelia Good
scored four points for Highland, Brooke
Williams had three and Brooklyn Bussard
scored two.
Good had four rebounds and five blocks
and Williams had five rebounds.
Kendyl Taylor and Abby Bauserman
each scored two for Green Bank.
In the boys’ game, the hosts won a 35-28
decision over the Rams (0-8).
Highland came from 22 points down to
lose by just seven.
Preston Jaccard had 13 for the
Rams, Levi Warner scored six, Owen
Honaker had four, Gavin Neave had
three and Steven Rogers added two.
Honaker added five rebounds, Neave had
four boards and Jaccard recorded four steals.
J. Smith put up 14 for Green Bank.
Highland is at home against Union
Educational Complex on Wednesday, Jan. 3.
