COVINGTON — Eli Moore scored a game-high 21 points on the hill last Wednesday, leading Highland to a 54-24 basketball victory over Boys Home.

John Wagner added 13 points for the Rams, who led 10-9 after one quarter and 27-14 at the halftime break.

Highland outscored their hosts 14-0 in the third quarter.

“A great effort on offense and defense from our guys,” said HHS coach Thomas Moore.

Ephy Morris led the Bears with 17 points, Carveon Lee had five and Kenneth Bailey added two.

Boys Home, now 0-7 on the season, takes a break for the holidays before returning to the court on Tuesday, Jan. 9 against Southwest Home School.
